Dr. Rodriguez is a dual board-certified rheumatologist who is affiliated with Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. 

Treating disorders affecting the joints, muscles and bones (and may also involve other organ systems), he tends to patients with rheumatoid arthritis, rotator cuff syndrome, osteoarthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, osteoporosis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, and Raynaud’s disease, among others. 

Maury Regional Medical Center is the flagship hospital for Maury Regional Health and is the largest hospital between Nashville and Huntsville. The 255-bed facility has a medical staff of more than 200 physicians and 2,000 employees who serve a region consisting of more than a quarter-million people in southern Middle Tennessee. The hospital offers a wide range of advanced services and has garnered numerous recognitions for its commitment to outstanding clinical outcomes.

A 1969 graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine, Dr. Rodriguez went on to perform both his internship and residency in internal medicine with the University of Miami/Jackson Health System in 1970 and 1974, respectively. 

Board-certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Sharing a dedication to healing, preventing disability, and curing disorders of the joints, muscles and bones, Dr. Rodriguez is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.
