Dr. Alang is a highly esteemed Board-Certified Internist, dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare to his patients since the establishment of his private practice, Frisco Internal Medicine, in Frisco, Texas in 2006. 

His commitment to medical excellence extends to his affiliations with prominent local healthcare institutions. This includes Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Centennial, where he assumed a leadership position as Chairman of the Department of Medicine. 

This not only underscores his clinical proficiency but also highlights his administration and organizational capabilities. Dr. Alang possesses a profound understanding of healthcare systems, enabling him to effectively guide and lead medical teams.

Holding a distinguished academic background, he earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery Degree from the prestigious Institute of Medical Sciences at Banaras Hindu University in India in 1992. Subsequently, Dr. Alang embarked on an illustrious journey to the United States, where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St John’s Episcopal Hospital-South Shore , SUNY, Brooklyn, from 1995 to 1998. 

Since then, Dr. Alang has had an impressive and distinguished career in the field of Internal Medicine. His experience of over 25 years , coupled with exceptional medical  knowledge, clinical skills, and bedside manners speaks volumes about his commitment to providing high-quality patient care. 

Driven by a dedication to treating patients with care, empathy, genuine concern, and understanding, Dr. Alang recognizes the pivotal role these qualities play in enhancing patient satisfaction and overall well-being.

Boasting nearly three decades of invaluable experience, he is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
