Shakil A. Khan, M.D. graduated from AUC School of Medicine in 1992. Dr. Khan completed his training at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons affiliate St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City. Dr. Khan chose to serve at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, also in New York City, as a Child Psychiatry Fellow to complete his formal education. Dedication to those with a history of sexual and/or physical abuse, further developed Dr. Khan's expertise in nurturing and healing patients. In 1992, Dr. Khan graduated with his medical degree from the AUC School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1995 at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. For his specialty, Dr. Khan chose to serve at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, also in New York City, as a fellow in child and adolescent psychiatry until 1997. He trained with renowned clinicians Dr. Peter Weiden at Columbia and Dr. Jefferey Newcorn at Mt. Sinai.
