Dr. Martinez-Blanco is an excellent dentist currently in practice at Sonrise Dental in St. Petersburg, Florida. She provides preventive, restorative and cosmetic services using the most advanced techniques available in order to make every patients’ visit as comfortable and painless as possible.

Originally from Cuba, Dr. Martinez-Blanco came to the United States as an adolescent with empty hands and many dreams to conquer. She received her undergraduate education at the University of Florida, graduating in 2008 with a major in Food Science and Human Nutrition and a minor in Business.
Subsequently, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry in May 2012, and was selected for a Senior Elective Mini Residency open to only 20 students with higher clinical standards. She then returned to Florida to attend the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at Bay Pines VA.
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Martinez-Blanco has had the privilege to be trained in many procedures such as Complex Extractions, Clinical Crown Lengthening, Removable and Fixed Prosthodontics, basic and cosmetic Restorative work, endodontic treatment, Invisalign and placement and restoration of Dental Implants. She also completed a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and completed the core curriculum with the Dawson Academy.
Committed to conservative, preventative dentistry as well as staying current in the latest technology promoting health and wellness, she is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Florida Dental Association, the Holistic Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Moreover, Dr. Martinez-Blanco has dedicated time for community service and volunteers to help patients in need, both locally and abroad. She has volunteered her time treating patients at Homeless Empowerment Program (HEP), and has traveled to Guatemala to treat patients without access to dental care.
