Get to know Nephrologist Dr. Indi P. Vasudeva, who serves patients in Tampa, Florida.

Well-versed in the field of nephrology, Dr. Vasudeva tends to patients at her private practice in Tampa, Florida. She takes pride in listening to her patients’ concerns and formulating a treatment modality using scientific data and years of experience to create the best possible outcome for each patient. She treats a myriad of conditions, from hypertension to rare, unusual cases in adolescent, adult and pregnant patients.

Pertaining to her educational background, she graduated with her medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in 1998, where she first fell in love with nephrology. She completed her combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2002, and completed her fellowship in nephrology at the New York Medical College in 2005.

Nephrology is a specialty of medicine and pediatrics that concerns itself with the kidneys. It is the study of normal kidney function and kidney disease, the preservation of kidney health, and the treatment of kidney disease, from diet and medication to renal replacement therapy. Nephrologists have advanced training in treating kidney disease. They diagnose and treat kidney failure, as well as help patients by prescribing medications, offering special diet advice, and coordinating dialysis care or kidney transplantation when it becomes necessary.

As a testament to her success, Dr. Vasudeva has been the recipient of the Top Doctor Award by Tampa Magazine (2020), and Professional Excellence in Medicine Award by Enfoque Magazine (2019).

On a more personal note, she has three children, Dhruv, Arnav, and Dev.
