A board-certified general surgeon, Dr. Mazraany is the President and CEO of Riverside Surgical Associates, and serves as Chief of Surgery at Lowell General Hospital. He has been practicing in the Greater Lowell area since 2008.
A native of Lebanon, he received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the prestigious American University of Beirut, where he was on the Dean’s honor list. After relocating to the United States. he completed residencies in general surgery at Easton Hospital in Pennsylvania, and at Loma Linda University in California.
As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
Achieving fellowship status, he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and Fellow of the National Arab American Medical Association (FNAAMA). He serves on the clinical faculty at the Tufts University School of Medicine.
Among his most notable achievements, Dr. Mazraany has been the recipient of the Patients' Choice Award (2013, 2012, 2009, 2008), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2014, 2013).
When he is not with patients, he spends his free time volunteering for many community charities, including coaching his children’s sports teams, staying active through sports, and enjoying time with his wife and their three children.
