She has made significant strides in the field of palliative care, notably through the establishment of the Palliative Medicine Consult Service at Community Medical Center in Toms River. 

With a robust educational background, she earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2003, followed by her internship and residency at Kennedy Lourdes Health System in 2003 and 2004, respectively. Her commitment to advancing palliative medicine is evident as she has successfully created the first Palliative Medicine Fellowship in New Jersey in partnership with Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine.
