Neck or low back.. It really depends on the MRI findings not from an X-ray if that's the case. With a true protrusion(herniation), I would not recommend it. Better to see an orthopedic doctor or chiropractor that is versed in treating disc protrusions after reading MRI results. READ MORE

Mandatory spinal x-rays of injured area, (cervical or lumbar)..Then MRI of injured area. If disc hernia and depending on the degree of findings.. spinal manipulation would be a contraindication. Dr. Ed began his pre-chiropractic education at Park College in Missouri, where he received his BA in Chemistry/Economics. After completing his study, he was accepted at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri. During his 4 year program there, courses included; biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-Ray, diagnosis, microbiology, pathology, chemistry, nutrition, and chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Cleveland College, After graduation Dr. Ed established his practice in Marlboro, Massachusetts in April of 1978.
