Dr. Wang is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist who specializes in infertility. She pioneered the first Chinese-American fertility in the United States, as well as made a major scientific breakthrough as the first in the medical field to clone out the IGF-1 gene (Insulin-like Growth Factor-1) from the human placenta.

In addition to the doctor’s affiliation with Garfield Medical Center, Huntington Hospital, and Methodist Hospital of Southern California, she serves patients at her private practice, Unity Fertility, in San Gabriel, California.

Founded almost three decades ago, Unity Fertility is a full-service fertility clinic that consists of a staff of highly educated and certified nurses, technicians, and researchers who strive to provide the best care and treatment for each patient. Their mission is to help each one of their patients have a baby regardless of marital status, financial status, and age. With so many treatment options, they carefully analyze each patient’s medical history and conditions to personalize what is best suited for each individual.

Based on a personal philosophy of care with a personal touch, Dr. Wang has successfully treated thousands of patients struggling with infertility. She developed individualized therapy, which is an innovative approach that explores the uniqueness of each patient’s problem at the cellular and molecular level in order to create a specific, optimal, and effective plan of treatment.

Throughout her academic career, she earned her Doctorate in Reproductive Endocrinology and her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio in 1990. She then went on to complete her internship, residency in obstetrics and gynecology, and fellowship at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center in California.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Wang is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) is a surgical subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology that trains physicians in reproductive medicine addressing hormonal functioning as it pertains to reproduction, as well as the issue of infertility. Reproductive endocrinologists are the only doctors trained in providing fertility treatments using assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) and egg freezing. They are also trained in obstetrics and gynecology, and then have additional training to provide fertility treatment.
