Dr. Patel is a specialist in the practice of Internal Medicine and has been a resident of Tampa over 30 yrs. Dr. Patel did his medical education at Kasturba Medical College and thereafter got his post-graduation training at Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in Internal Medicine. He also completed Post-doctoral graduate training in Masters of Business Administration at University of South Florida Tampa. Dr. Patel has been involved with many health plans as a Medical Director and in the hospitals and has chaired many committees in the hospitals. He is married with 2 children and both of them are physicians. Dr. Patel’s services include but are not limited to: - Primary care and preventative care - Diabetic plan of care, Funduscopic Exam. - Pulmonary function test - Peripheral Vascular for vascular disease management - Minor surgeries, Intravenous fluid management. - Dermatologic procedures: Includes comprehensive skin service, biopsies, skin tag removal, wart removal, excision of lesions. - Women’s health examination and cervical cancer screening. - Vaccinations, Antibiotic injections, and Heart Failure management. - Coumadin clinic - On-site blood draw.
