The cardiologist will carry out tests and they may perform some procedures, such as heart catheterization, angioplasty or pacemaker insertion. Dr. Tekkelian attributes her successful medical career to her dedication to her patients and to the field of cardiac electrophysiology. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Tekkelian enjoys reading and playing the violin.
