He completed his residency in General Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the medical school of Drexel University. The medical school has one of the nation’s largest enrollments for a private medical school and represents the consolidation of two medical schools: the first US medical school for women and the nation’s first college of homeopathy. While at Drexel, he received the ‘Golden Stethoscope’ nomination for excellence in teaching as a resident.

Dr Rassadi gained a Fellowship in Upper GI/Hepatobiliary Surgery at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, part of the Methodist Health System– a renowned network of acute-care and teaching hospitals and medical centers in North Texas and Dallas.

Dr. Rassadi is a Candidate Member of the American College of Surgeons and has been on the Editorial Board for the McGill Journal of Medicine.
