A board certified gastroenterologist with a passion for advancing patient care, Dr. Ramesh brings a wealth of expertise in advanced and therapeutic endoscopy, including ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) and endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS), as well as a deep understanding of liver diseases.
Dr. Ramesh is not only a leading practitioner but also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Central Florida, where he plays an integral role in shaping the next generation of medical professionals. He shares his extensive knowledge and clinical expertise with students at the Osceola Regional Medical Center, providing hands-on training and fostering an environment of learning and growth.
Completing his medical education at Spartan Health Sciences University in Saint Lucia, Dr. Ramesh established a strong foundation in medicine. He then pursued a residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut from 2000 to 2003, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine from 2003 to 2007. This rigorous training equipped him with the skills necessary to excel in the complex field of gastroenterology.
As a member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), and the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation (CCF), Dr. Ramesh stays at the forefront of medical advancements.
