With over two decades of experience, Dr. Uhrik is an established neurologist in East Brunswick, New Jersey. He serves as the Medical Director of the Stroke Center at Raritan Bay Medical Center, which is a member of the Hackensack Meridian Health family.
Since 1902, Raritan Bay Medical Center has been a provider of quality compassionate care to the men, women, and children in Central New Jersey. A medical staff of more than 500 physicians and specialists and a nationally-recognized nursing and ancillary staff of 1,700 provide medical-surgical, maternity, pediatric, general and critical care, stroke, behavioral health, and emergency services.
Professionally, Dr. Uhrik also serves as the Chairman of the Division of Neurology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway, as well as remains affiliated with JFK Medical Center & Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
After earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1989, he went on to complete his internship at Union Hospital. This was followed by a residency at Albany Medical Center.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and a member of the Neurocritical Care Society, the doctor is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (ABNP). The ABNP is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.
