Hi, The most common cause of small bowel obstructions are adhesions. Those are scar tissue that forms usually due to prior surgery or infection. With over three decades of experience, Dr. Mirviss conceived of, developed the business plan for, and implemented the ongoing “Pacific Family After Hours Clinic” which offers urgent, after hours medical care to patients and non-patients after work evenings and Saturdays. The After Hours Clinic has been operational since 2009.
In direct affiliation with her industry, she is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, the Urgent Care Association of America, and the San Francisco Medical Society.
