Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Regina Robbins, who serves patients in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Dr. Robbins is a board-certified pediatrician who is currently affiliated with WellStar Kenmar Pediatrics in Kennesaw, Georgia. WellStar is a not-for-profit Georgia-based organization dedicated to providing world-class healthcare. The WellStar Kenmar Pediatrics team is made up of eight board-certified pediatricians and two certified pediatric nurse practitioners specializing in the care of infants, children, and adolescents. 

Dr. Robbins is also affiliated with WellStar Kennestone Hospital –  a major hospital located in Marietta, Georgia, serving most of northern and central Cobb County, Georgia. 

Dr. Robbins is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). 

Dr. Robbins is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). Founded in 1933, the ABP is one of the 24 certifying boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). The ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certificate is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence.   

Dr. Robbins earned her undergraduate degree at Xavier University of Louisiana in 1999. She obtained her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2003. She then went on to complete her residency in Pediatrics at the Louisiana State University Pediatric Residency program at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. As a pediatrician, Dr. Robbins examines, diagnoses, and treats children of all ages with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses. She understands that children change rapidly and that they must be approached with an appreciation for their stage of physical and mental development.
