She has also attended numerous continuing education courses and has volunteered her time with Connecticut Mission of Mercy.
On a professional level, she is an active member of the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association, where she serves on the CSDA Council on Ethics.

Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens.
