Dr. Misty Hendricks was born into a dental family comprised of dentists (her grandfather and great-grandfather), a dental assistant (her grandmother), a dental hygienist (her mother), and a dental lab technician (her father). While attending California State University Bakersfield, she decided to become a dentist. After graduating from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2004 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, she moved back to her hometown of Bakersfield, California, in 2006. Over the past several years, Dr. Hendricks has been extremely fortunate to be an associate dentist at some of the most well-respected dental offices in Bakersfield, where she gained great experience. In 2014, she accepted an associate dentist position with David Peterson, DDS. Dr. Peterson and Dr. Hendricks graduated from the same high school and were classmates at Loma Linda Dental School. Dr. Hendricks feels once again fortunate to work in a beautiful, state-of-the-art office with some of the most current technology available, including CEREC single-visit porcelain crowns. She is a member of the Kern County Dental Society, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association. Dr. Hendricks is an animal lover and has two dogs and 1 cat. When she isn’t working to improve your smile, she enjoys snow skiing and snowboarding.
