James Patrick Stenger, DDS, MSD, is a leading pediatric dentist and orthodontist currently serving patients at Developmental Dentistry PLLC at Children's Hospital of Michigan Detroit, Michigan. Throughout his fifty years of practice, he has accrued extensive expertise in pediatric dentistry for children with special needs. After earning his dental degree in 1968 at the University of Detroit Mercy, Dr. Steger completed his postgraduate training at the University of Southern California (pediatric dentistry) and the University of the Pacific (orthodontics). Dr. Stenger serves as Chair of the Department of Dentistry for Childrenâ??s Hospital of Michigan and is the Orthodontic Director for the craniofacial team at Childrenâ??s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Stenger is dual board certified as a Pedodontist and Orthodontist. Additionally, in order to stay up to date on all medical advancements in his field, he maintains a professional membership with the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
