She completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology/medical oncology at the University of South Florida at Moffitt Cancer Center. Most recently, she completed a fellowship in sarcoma medical oncology (Willie Tichenor Sarcoma Fellowship) at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
