A board-certified pulmonologist, Dr. Gotkin is the Medical Director of Adult Pulmonology at Memorial Healthcare System, working with patients at Memorial Hospital Pembroke, Memorial Hospital West, and Memorial Regional Hospital.

He completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1999, and his fellowship in sleep disorders at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2000.
As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care.
