He completed his residency at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1993, followed by his fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio in 1995. 

Nephrology is a specialty of medicine and pediatrics that concerns itself with the kidneys. It is the study of normal kidney function and kidney disease, the preservation of kidney health, and the treatment of kidney disease and Hypertension, from diet and medication to renal replacement therapy. Nephrologists have advanced training in treating kidney disease. They diagnose and treat kidney failure, as well as help patients by prescribing medications, offering special diet advice, and coordinating dialysis care when indicated. 

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Singh enjoys playing tennis, swimming, hiking and gardening. He is married to Dr. Neena Singh and they have two children Simran and Navkaran who are in College and planning to pursue a career in the Medical field.

Dr. Singh also volunteers at the local Mercy Medical Clinic helping patients with kidney disease who are indigent and unable to afford speciality care.
