Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Melissa Delgado, who serves the Washington DC metro area at her private practice The Chronic Pelvic Pain Center of Northern Virginia. Dr. Delgado attended medical school at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and New York Medical College before completing a residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. After seeing the benefits of integrative medicine, Dr. Delgado also became certified to practice acupuncture. She is an expert in robotic laser surgery for endometriosis and is also a MonaLisa Touch vaginal rejuvenation expert. Currently, Dr. Delgado serves patients at her own private clinic and several area hospitals, including Reston Hospital Center, Innova Fairfax and Innova Loudon hopsitals. She has been board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds a Virginia medical license. She is the only female surgeon specializing in healing chronic pelvic pain in the northern Virginia region. To stay current in her field, Dr. Delgado is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
