Dr. Adler is a highly trained, experienced, and licensed specialist in pain management and aesthetic medicine. She is the Founder of Aesthetic MD of New York, specializing in the practice of aesthetic medicine, face, body and skin rejuvenation, and medically supervised weight loss.
Priding herself on utilizing state of the art, wellness-oriented medicine, Dr. Adler understands that looking and feeling one’s best is critical to overall self-esteem and total body wellness. Her goal is to work with each patient to help them achieve the skin, face or body that is the essence of “you” – only younger looking, healthier and more radiant.
Currently, in private practice in both pain management and aesthetic medicine, she also serves as Chief of Pain Management at Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue, New York. She is certified to perform the following procedures: PRP Facelift®, PRP Facial®, PRP Breast Lift, PRP Shot for Men, and PRP Shot for Women.
After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Adler completed her internship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center Hospital. She then did her residency in anesthesiology at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, and received a fellowship in meso-lipotherapy from the International Meso-Lipotherapy Society.
Thereafter, she went on to serve as Director of Pain Management at the Brooklyn Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Director of St. Albans Extended Care Center in Queens, Assistant Instructor of Anesthesiology at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, and Chief of Pain Management at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.
Very active in several medical organizations, Dr. Adler is a member of the American Medical Association, the Suffolk County Medical Society, the New York State Medical Society, the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the Society for Pain Practice Management, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Florida Medical Association.
Additionally, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine, which is committed to the certification of qualified physicians in the field of Pain Medicine.
Licensed to practice medicine in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, Dr. Adler has spent the past 20 years speaking and teaching on the subject of pain management.
