South Texas Continuum of Care Specialists (STCCS) is a professional and innovative healthcare staffing and management solution. Led by Dr. Aguirre, STCCS was founded on a mission to provide quality patient care and better outcomes in San Antonio area practices.
Among his other roles, he is a co-founder of the Alamo City Medical Group, Alamo Inpatient Management Systems (AIMS) and Hospitalists of San Antonio (HOSA), and can be found on staff at Methodist Hospital, St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System, and Southwest General Hospital. He has also served as the Vice President of Medical Affairs for a nationwide hospitalist group, IPC – the Hospitalist Company.
A San Antonio native, Dr. Aguirre graduated from the University of Texas Medical School in 1991 and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio in 1994.
Maintaining fellowship status, he is a Senior Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine.
