Get to know Family Physician Dr. Jessica E. Finnerty, who serves patients in Shelby Township, Michigan.

Dr. Finnerty is a trusted family physician in practice with Alliance Health Professionals, PLLC in Shelby Township, Michigan. Her clinical interests include supporting patients with behavioral health and overall wellness, including the function of the musculoskeletal system.  

A firm believer that there is a balance in medicine, Dr. Finnerty has always enjoyed the science involved in diagnostics as well as the art of caring for people. She loves having the ability to help people and their families not only fight illness, but also to achieve their goals of health and wellness – both physically and mentally.

She joined Alliance Health because of the friendly, experienced staff, as well as the awesome patients with roots close to her hometown. She’d love to encourage all of her patients to take a simple 20 minute walk at any point in their day.  It will be life changing; allowing for improved mobility, health, and wellness. 

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Finnerty graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016. She then went on to perform her internship and residency in family medicine at Garden City Hospital in 2017 and 2019, respectively. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.

With a passion for her profession, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP).
