Get to know Internist Dr. Michelle J. Aboud, who serves patients throughout the State of Kentucky.

Dr. Aboud is a well-versed internist who is affiliated with several hospitals throughout the state of Kentucky, including Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital in St. Matthews, Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Baptist Health Louisville, and Baptist Health La Grange.

With years of experience in her field, she applies scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to the diagnosis, treatment, and compassionate care of adults across the spectrum from health to complex illness.

A 1997 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Dr. Aboud went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at University Hospital – University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

Following her training, she became board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
