A skilled urologist, Dr. Faiella III is an attending physician at Advanced Urology Centers of New York. He practices in all areas of urologic surgery including all open major/minor, laparoscopic, cystoscopic, percutaneous and laser-based surgical procedures, as well as in-office procedures such as “no scalpel” vasectomy. He has a special interest in all aspects of urologic oncologic surgery and management and has developed expertise with cryoablative surgical techniques.
Advanced Urology Centers of New York (AUCNY), a Division of Integrated Medical Professionals, was formed by community urologists committed to providing the highest level of medical service available. AUCNY physicians, along with hundreds of medical and administrative staff, are committed to the delivery of state of art healthcare in a compassionate environment.
With a broad educational background, Dr. Faiella III obtained his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1991. He completed his residency training through Cornell Medical College and New York Medical College for his general surgery and urologic surgery training in 1997. During his residency, he was involved in many research studies and published numerous articles in peer-review journals.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the doctor is board-certified in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU). The mission of the ABU is to act for the benefit of the public by establishing and maintaining standards of certification for urologists, and working with certified urologists to achieve lifelong learning to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe, and ethical urologic care.
In addition to seeing patients at Advanced Urology Centers of New York, Dr. Faiella III is the Director of Urologic Oncology within the Department of Urology at Winthrop University Hospital.
Teaching students, he serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor within the Department of Urology at NYU Long Island School of Medicine.
