Get to know Family Physician Dr. Manuel A. Padilla, who serves patients in El Paso, Texas.

An established family physician with a special interest in aesthetic medicine, Dr. Padilla has been providing quality medical care for over a decade. He is the Founder and Medical Director of Sun City Medical Clinic in El Paso, Texas.

One of the first medical clinics in far east El Paso, Sun City Medical Clinic is a skin laser center for the treatment of skin lesions and aging skin. Its scope of service includes school physicals, preventative care, surgical clearance, blood pressure monitoring, pre-employment physicals, colds, flu, allergy and asthma therapy, acute and chronic care, urinary tract infections, ear wax removal, minor surgical procedures and other health issues of men and women. Office procedures done at Sun City Medical Clinic include skin tag removal, repair of minor laceration, drainage of abscesses, biopsy of skin lesions, joint infections, inhalation therapy, spirometry, ECG, nerve conduction study, toenail removal, throat or urine cultures, ear lavage, and other necessary medical procedures.

After an honorable discharge from the Army National Guard, Dr. Padilla completed a Microbiology Degree at UTEP before entering medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

An authority in his field, the doctor is board certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
