The following year, Dr. Kokkosis was awarded Second Place for her poster presentation on the “Experience of HeRO Dialysis Graft Placement in a Challenging Population” at the Veith Symposium. In 2017, she was honored with the Fabio Giron Teaching Award from the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Stony Brook Medicine.
