Dr. Beata (Bay-ata) “Bliss” Lewis is an adult, child and adolescent psychiatrist, and integrative medicine doctor. She graduated with a degree in biology from Harvard University and earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed adult psychiatry training at Columbia University and Child Psychiatry Fellowship at the NYU Child Study Center. Dr. Lewis is board certified in Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Integrative Medicine.
She integrates psychotherapy and medications with alternative and complementary mind body medicine therapies, and lifestyle and dietary recommendations. Dr. Lewis specializes in anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma. Dr. Lewis practices Ketamine Assisted Therapy to address depression and a variety of other chronic concerns.
Dr. Lewis is the chair of the New York County Psychiatric Society Integrative Psychiatry Committee and the Chair of the American Psychiatric Association Integrative Psychiatry Caucus. She organizes monthly talks on integrative psychiatry topics for psychiatrists. Dr. Lewis is a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU and teaches an undergraduate course called Complementary and Alternative Mental Health. Dr. Lewis immigrated to the United States from Poland as a child. She is the mom of elementary school-age twin girls.
