Treating adults and geriatrics, Dr. Aminova is a highly trained infectious disease specialist on staff at Beaumont Hospital, Troy & Henry Ford Macomb Hospital – Clinton Township.

Since its beginnings as the East side’s first hospital in 1899, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital has been a leader in advancing medicine and partnering with the Macomb County community to improve the health of those served. THe 361-bed hospital in Clinton Township provides advanced level emergency and trauma services, a Primary Stroke Center, heart care recognized among the Top 50 programs in the country, the Henry Ford Cancer Institute, a Birthing Center, inpatient rehabilitation unit and the Center for Joint Replacement. It also provides the most advanced minimally invasive surgery and leading diagnostic imaging services and capabilities.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after she earned her medical degree from Kazan State Medical University in Russia in 1994. Years later, after relocating to the United States, she pursued her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in infectious disease at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak in 2005 and 2007, respectively. 

A member of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Aminova is board-certified in internal medicine and infectious disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Infectious disease is a medical specialty dealing with prevention, the diagnosis, and treatment of infections. Infectious disease specialists provide long-term care to people with diseases that are lifelong or last for more than one year. They employ a variety of antimicrobial agents to help treat infections.
