The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after she earned her medical degree from Kazan State Medical University in Russia in 1994. Years later, after relocating to the United States, she pursued her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in infectious disease at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak in 2005 and 2007, respectively. 

A member of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Aminova is board-certified in internal medicine and infectious disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
