CTA Pathology is a group of dermatopathologists with a passion for providing quality service to clients and patients alike. In 1987, Dr. Thompson graduated with his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology and his fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of California, San Francisco in 1995 and 1996, respectively.

Dr. Thompson regularly collaborates with students and residents on academic research projects and continues to deliver presentations worldwide at conferences such as the World Congress for Hair Research, the European Nail Society, and the American Academy of Dermatology.
