Dr. Mora is an experienced and passionate dentist who enjoys practicing advanced dental treatments utilizing cutting-edge technology such as Laser Assisted Dentistry, 3D Dental imaging, CEREC, and others.

Dr. Mora is an experienced and passionate dentist who enjoys practicing advanced dental treatments utilizing cutting-edge technology such as laser assisted dentistry, 3D dental imaging, CEREC, and others. 

Creating beautiful and brighter smiles, he works alongside his wife, Dr. Adriana Mora, at their dental practice, Mora Family Laser Dentistry, located in Exton, Pennsylvania. The dental duo practice a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise ranging from porcelain veneers to dental implants, crowns, and bridges.

Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, Dr. Mora received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Colombian College of Dentistry in Bogota. He then moved to the United States with his family and attended The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree.

Soon after graduation, he started a position as an assistant professor at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and established his dental practice more than 15 years ago.

Today, Dr. Mora serves as a Clinical Associate Professor within the Department of Oral Medicine at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

On a professional level, he is an active member of the American Dental Association. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.   

On a more personal note, Dr. Mora and his wife, Dr. Adriana, have been married for over three decades. They have two children – Juan Pablo, who is a dentist, and Andrea, who is a nurse.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as going to the movies, concerts, and soccer games.
