Affiliated with esteemed medical institutions such as John T Mather Memorial Hospital, Long Island Community Hospital, and Peconic Bay Medical Center, Dr. Cirrone brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his practice.
His journey to becoming a radiation oncologist began at Albany Medical College, followed by a residency in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) affiliated with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC).
During his residency, Dr. Cirrone’s time at MSKCC solidified his dedication to caring for cancer patients, leading him to pursue further training in radiation oncology. He completed his residency at Downstate University Hospital in Brooklyn, receiving excellent training in the field before becoming an attending at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn.
In 2000, Dr. Cirrone made the decision to move to Suffolk County and join New York Cancer & Blood Specialists, where he has been providing exceptional care ever since.
Board certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he embodies the highest standards of care in the field.
