Get to know Dentist Dr. Viviane Trinh, who serves patients in New York. 

Recognized as friendly, thorough, and professional, Dr. Trinh is a leading NYC dentist based out of Manhattan’s Greenwich Village area.

Some of the services that she and her top notch team offer include cosmetic dentistry, family dentistry, restorative dentistry, dental implants, teeth whitening, Invisalign, periodontal surgery, dental bonding, TMJ treatment, tooth extraction, root canal treatment, and emergency dental care, among others.

Providing the highest quality of care, emphasizing prevention, health and wellness, Dr. Trinh also works with Dr. James T. Aris at Wilton Center Family Dentistry in Connecticut.  She believes that oral health care is the pathway to overall systemic health and integral well-being.

A native of Connecticut, Dr. Trinh received her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from the  University of Connecticut. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.

Rated Top Dentist of New York and Connecticut, Dr. Trinh believes in comprehensive preventative care combined with in-depth patient education. Her advanced training brings the latest techniques including CAD/CAM technology to modernize dentistry to her patients in achieving esthetics while balancing health needs. 

A dental medical reserve corps member, Dr. Trinh serves as health commissioner for the City of Stamford and stands on the steering committees for community health centers of Southern Connecticut. Additionally, she is a Board Member of the Rowe Health Professions Scholars Program, an investigator for a teledentistry algorithmic remote machine learning program, a dental peer reviewer, a dental contributor for Kaplan Testing, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health.

Among her professional dental affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New York State Dental Association, and the Connecticut State Dental Association.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries, create beautiful smiles, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Throughout her career, Dr. Trinh has received many honors, including the John W. Valerie Health Professions Scholar. She is an advocate of promoting oral healthcare, volunteering with the Special Olympics, Operation Smile, and Mission of Mercy. 

In her spare time, Dr. Trinh enjoys dancing ballet, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. She speaks multiple languages, including English, Vietnamese, and French.
