Dr. Williams, stands as a distinguished figure in the field of orthopedic surgery, bringing a wealth of expertise to his practice at Hands-On Orthopedics and Injury Center in Trinity, Florida. As a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, he specializes in general fractures and injuries.

One of his notable areas of expertise lies in hand and microvascular surgery, where he has undergone fellowship training. His proficiency in this field is evident in his ability to perform advanced procedures, including Sonex ultrasound-guided carpal tunnel and trigger finger release surgeries, often conducted in the office setting for added convenience and efficiency.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Williams pursued his pre-medical college education at Syracuse University in upstate New York before obtaining his doctorate at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. His commitment to excellence led him to a one-year internship at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, Florida, followed by an orthopedic residency in Queens, New York. Wanting to further specialize, he completed a one-year fellowship program in hand and microvascular surgery through the University of Miami at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.

Continuously advancing his efforts, Dr. Williams actively contributes to the field of orthopedic surgery. He serves as a board examiner for the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS) and holds the position of director for the national board review program at the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. Additionally, he is involved in the AOBOS continuing medical education committee, reflecting his commitment to advancing the education and standards within the field.

In addition, he has held notable leadership roles, having served as chief of surgery and chief of staff at AdventHealth North Pinellas in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He also assumed the position of chief of orthopedics at BayCare Surgery Center in Trinity, showcasing his dedication to both patient care and the enhancement of healthcare facilities.

Orthopedic surgery is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and non-surgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, spine diseases, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders.
