  • Dr. Adegboyega came from a place of struggle after growing up in Africa, he wanted to be successful here in the USA. Dr Adegboyega grew up in Africa and was always out playing soccer with his friends. While playing, there were always a lot of ankle injuries which got him interested in podiatry.

Get to know Podiatrist Dr. Samuel Adegboyega, who serves the population of Matawan, New Jersey. Dr. Adegboyega completed his undergraduate degree from the Rutgers University where he graduated as pre-med with a Bachelors of Art majoring in Biology in 2000. Further his education he graduated with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the New York College Of Podiatric Medicine in 2006, giving him over a decade of experience in his field. After obtaining his degree he completed his Advanced Reconstruction residency with the New York Presbyterian Hospital followed by his Microsurgery Fellowship with the same organization. Dr. Adegboyega is certified in Foot Surgery and Board Qualified in Reconstructive Rear Foot/Ankle Surgery with the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons. To stay up to date in his field he remains a professional member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. In 2017 he received the Presidential Award from the New York College Of Podiatric Medicine. He currently works at a private practice (Bergen Family Foot Care) and is a Chief of Podiatry at Harlem Hospital, and lectures at New York College of Podiatric Medicine, he is also affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, St. Mary’s General Hospital, Lincoln Medical Center, Hackensack University Medical Center, and the East Orange General Hospital, where he holds an expertise in Foot and ankle surgery, reconstruction, and diabetic wounds.
