Get to know Internist Dr. Nidaa Khamousia, who serves patients in Maumee, Ohio.

Dr. Khamousia is a respected internist practicing at The Toledo Clinic –  Fallen Timbers Internal Medicine in Maumee, Ohio. Specializing in the medical treatment of adults, her areas of expertise include prevention – wellness & women’s healthcare.

At the start of her academic career, Dr. Khamousia graduated with her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Damascus University in 1991. She then went on to perform her residency in internal medicine at the University of Toledo Medical Center in 2003.

A member of the Ohio State Medical Association, she is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Licensed to practice medicine in Ohio, Dr. Khamousia is affiliated with McLaren St. Luke’s Hospital, ProMedica Toledo Hospital, ProMedica Flower Hospital, and Mercy Health — St. Vincent Medical Center.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists.
