He subsequently completed his medical internship at Unity Health System in Rochester, New York and was recognized as the Intern of the Year. Dr. Hines completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Flaum Eye Institute of the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. He was selected as a SuperDoctor Rising Star by his regional physicians and Texas Monthly Magazine in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Was named a Top Doctor in 2021 and 2022.
