Dr. Wolfe is a general dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at his private dental practice, New Town Dentistry located in Waxhaw, North Carolina. New Town Dentistry provides
comprehensive restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. The practice has the newest equipment available for diagnosing, treating, and maintaining the best comfort level for each individual patient. New Town Dentistry is proud to be affiliated with the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Missions of Mercy, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
In addition to working at his Waxhaw practice, Dr. Wolfe enjoys bringing his skills and compassionate care to various mission organizations, both locally and in Guatemala. Locally, he volunteers at North Carolina Missions of Mercy, an outreach offering free dental care to local residents who cannot otherwise afford dentistry. Dr. Wolfe also volunteers on the Ada Jenkins Dental Bus, a mobile unit that goes into communities and offers care to folks who otherwise would not have access to dental services.
Dr. Wolfe served as the Associate Director of Mercy Medical Center where he both practiced dentistry and taught residents. He also served on active duty as a Captain in the United States Air Force. He was a comprehensive general dentist in the 6th Dental Squadron at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida.
Dr. Wolfe earned his bachelor of science degree in human nutrition from The Ohio State University. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2002. After graduation, he completed a two-year General Practice Residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
Dr. Wolfe is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Less than 2% of general dentists in the United States and Canada are MAGDs. To become an AGD Master, a dentist must complete over 1,100 credit hours of continuing education, earn 400 of those 1,100 credits in hands-on courses, as well as pass an exam equal in difficulty to board certification exams. Additionally, Dr. Wolfe is married to his wife, Jessica. They have four children.
