For over 30 years, The Pediatric Group, Inc. has been a trusted medical advisor to the families of Southern California. Their doctors and staff will do everything within their power to further the health of children.

A native of Southern California, Dr. Kramer grew up in Los Angeles and attended UCLA for her undergraduate education. Her love for travel and foreign languages led her to Tel Aviv University for medical school where she graduated at the top of her class. She then returned to Los Angeles and completed her residency in pediatrics at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. During her training, she was honored with several awards, including Resident of the Year and the Neonatology Award. 

After completing her residency in 2004, she pursued further education in the area of lactation, and became a Certified Lactation Educator. She is one of a handful of physicians who has this certification. In early 2005, she joined Dr. Whitman in private practice.

An expert in her field, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

Among her various accolades, Dr. Kramer has been the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2014, 2013, 2012, 2011), On-Time Doctor Award (2014), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2014).

On a more personal note, she is happily married and has three children. She enjoys hiking, reading, theater, travel and ballet. On the weekends, you may see her around town with her family, doing one of her other favorite things, being a mom.
