Dr. Llewellyn is a general dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at his private practice, Thomas Llewellyn DDS and Associates PA, in Towson, Maryland. Raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Dr. Llewellyn graduated with honors with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia in 1987.
After graduation, he was commissioned as a dental officer in the United States Navy, serving a majority of his time with the Marine Corp. After being honorably discharged, he went into private practice in 1992 in Baltimore. He was a solo practitioner for fourteen years when he decided to merge his practice with Dr. David A. Denisch. They have practiced together for fifteen years, being supported by an amazing team of dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative assistants, most of whom have worked with Dr. Llewellyn for over twenty years.
An active member in a variety of charitable organizations, Dr. Llewellyn supports Catholic Charities, Our Daily Bread, Maryland Special Olympics, The 410 Bridge, as well as Mission of Mercy, where he provides pro bono dental care for the underprivileged. Additionally, he is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Maryland State Dental Association, the American Legion, the International Society of Police Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Baltimore County Dental Association, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, and the Knights of Columbus.

General dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. In his personal life, Dr. Llewellyn and his wife, Megan, live in Cockeysville, where they are raising their four sons. They are sports enthusiasts and enjoy coaching and attending their boys’ games. They are also certified scuba divers and enjoy vacationing in the Caribbean Islands.
