Get to know Dentist Dr. Brian K. Morris, who serves patients in Jackson, Ohio.

Dr. Morris is a skilled dentist who, alongside his wife, Jamie, opened Southern Ohio Smiles in Jackson, Ohio.

Helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams, Southern Ohio Smiles offers quality and affordable dental services for the whole family. The knowledgeable staff take the time to get to know patients and their needs to help them fully achieve their goals. They will walk each patient through every step of their procedure, making them feel comfortable and fully prepared before beginning and all throughout their care. 

Growing up in Jackson, Ohio, Dr. Morris is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School. After high school, he attended Ohio University in Athens, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology. 

Thereafter, he married his high school sweetheart and moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to attend Temple University School of Dentistry. He graduated from Temple with his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree in 2005. He moved his family back to Jackson after graduation, beginning his career at a local group dental practice, and then opening his private practice. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
