Regarding his educational background, Dr. Ambush earned his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1990. He then went on to complete his residency in pediatrics at Jacobi Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1993.

With more than 30 years of experience in his field, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), Dr. Ambush is also affiliated with Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Maryland. Apart from pediatrics, he specializes in adolescent medicine and internal medicine.
