A board-certified cardiologist, Dr. Sokol is an attending physician at Ahava Medical and Rehab Center, with offices in the Brooklyn, Liberty, and Flatbush areas. With his breadth of knowledge and diagnostic experience, he has consulted for hundreds of doctors on the East Coast.
Established in 1998, Ahava Medical and Rehab Center is a full service medical facility with a staff of over 120 health care professionals. The practice helps patients by utilizing the latest medical techniques and technology including aquatic therapy, speech & language therapy, and occupational therapy. They also provide patients with comprehensive internal medicine care, pediatric care, psychiatry, physical therapy, and urgent care.
Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Sokol graduated with his medical degree from the Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the Jacobi Hospital Center, and his fellowship in cardiology at the North Shore University Hospital.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and member of the American College of Physicians, the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
