Striving to improve the total patient experience, Dr. McCalley is among the first dentists in San Diego to implement CAD/CAM Cerec technology to provide one-visit crowns. By incorporating 3D imaging technology at his office, he is also able to design treatment for the placement of dental implants.
Scholastically, Dr. McCalley received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Arizona. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Southern California, after which he opened his dental practice in San Diego in 1988.
Extensive continuing education ensures Dr. McCalley is always current in the dental industry. His memberships and credentials include the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the San Diego County Dental Society, and an advanced functional esthetics graduate of the Las Vegas Institute (a hands-on learning institution focusing on optimal patient care to achieve the most natural looking results possible).
