Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Ariane Sylvaine Neyou, who serves patients in Newark, Ohio.

Dr. Neyou is a highly trained cardiologist at Licking Memorial Heart Center in Newark, Ohio. She specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating conditions of the cardiovascular system, which includes the heart and the body’s blood vessels.

Licking Memorial Heart Center provides a wide range of hospital and office-based services to include atrial fibrillation and heart failure management, cardiac device therapy, diagnostic testing and treatment, left/right heart catheterizations, and percutaneous intervention procedures. It is a part of Licking Memorial Health Systems, a not-for-profit healthcare organization dedicated to the mission of improving the health of the community.

With regard to her academic background, Dr. Neyou graduated with her medical degree from the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne in France. She performed her fellowship in cardiology at University of Poitiers, after which she relocated to the United States. Once there, she completed a residency in internal medicine at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, completing her training in 2014.

A member of the Association of Cameroonian Physicians in the Americas, she is board-certified in echocardiology by the National Board of Echocardiography, and in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

Furthermore, she is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Licensed to practice medicine in Ohio, Dr. Neyou is affiliated with Licking Memorial Hospital.
