As for his academic title, Dr. Reimers serves as an Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell in East Garden City, New York. The educational venue was established in 2008 by Hofstra University and Northwell Health.
His acclaimed career in medicine began in 1988 when he earned his Medical Degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey.
