Throughout her academic career, Dr. Siegel graduated with her medical degree from the Columbia University Roy and Diana Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1977. She then went on to perform her internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in 1978.
Furthering her training, she performed her residency in psychiatry and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1980 and 1983, respectively.
Seeking to improve each patient’s quality of life, Dr. Siegel is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.
